A Greenville, South Carolina, native, Ben earned his bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and his law degree from the University of South Carolina.

Ben served as Chief Counsel to the Judiciary Committee, S.C. House of Representatives, and staff counsel to the Office of Regulatory Staff prior to joining Willoughby and Hoefer.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the S.C. Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Ben is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of South Carolina.
